The Center for Faculty Development was officially established on May 1, 2007 (in compliance with the Regulations Governing the Establishment of the NTUNHS Center for Faculty Development which was approved on June 27, 2007 and amended on July 23, 2007.)

i. Promoting a culture of self-growth and motivation for faculty
ii. Establishing a promotional mechanism that is care-based, integration-based, and systematic
iii. Emphasizing quality and quantity controlfor overall teaching effectiveness

i. Building an effective mechanism that promotes the teaching quality of the faculty
ii. Enhancing the value and implementation of faculty evaluations to achieve a merit-based
faculty evaluation system
iii. Creating a mechanism that promotes the continual enhancement of the Center’s effectiveness
